Firstly, a reminder for everyone to check out our official group, TwoThousandWords!

And now, welcome to our second check-in. Everyone, please comment below with an answer to these questions. Yes, everyone must do it, not just one person per team. Anyone who hasn't replied within 5-7 days will be tracked down.

I am a: Writer or artist.

Percentage Progress: How much you've done so far of your intended completed product. 40%? 60%? This will obviously be higher for writers than artists.

Collaboration: You're your collaboration going? Good communication? Drafts getting exchanged? Regular discussion?

Planning: Do you have a good idea of how you'll proceed in this project? That's in terms of your personal work planning, and how your team is progressing as a whole

What You Like About Your Work So Far: Again, both personally and how your team is going as a collaboration.

What You Don’t Like About Your Work So Far: Ditto.

Anything Else: (issues with characterisation, colours, structure, technology, being swamped with other stuff, etc.)

A few examples:

I am a: Writer.

Percentage Progress: 90% Got just about the complete rough draft, but still got editing and going over to do.

Collaboration: Pretty well. I've sent detailed descriptions to my artists, and have been receiving WIP sketches from my artist, and we've been discussing ideas.

Planning: Got a few other things on right now, which is good since I like to distance myself before editing anyway. Will be getting to that soon. Will still be in contact with artist and working with them during all this time, though. Got a few more pieces planned.

What You Like About Your Work So Far: I really like my story, it's something I've wanted to write for ages. And I'm really enjoying seeing my characters come to life.

What You Don’t Like About Your Work So Far: So. Much. Editing. When I say 'rough draft' I mean really really rough. A lot of technical things that need fixing.

I am a: Artist.

Percentage Progress: 40% Got ideas and some sketches, but still have to flesh out.

Collaboration: I've read their first draft, and was just told to go wild with my ideas. So, not a huge deal of communication except for the occasional question, but that's how we've planned it so it's alright.

Planning: I'd like to do 5 pieces which I have a good idea about, perhaps more if I have time but not sure yet.

What You Like About Your Work So Far: My writer's got a really intriguing world, and I'm trying out a few new techniques to capture it. Going well so far.

What You Don’t Like About Your Work So Far: I'm just not satisfied a lot. I dunno, just feel it's not quite right for the atmosphere. Working at it, though.

Anything Else: I just got a new tablet, so yay!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I am a: Writer.

Percentage Progress: Probably 80%? I don't even know. Close to done, though.

Collaboration: Seems like it's going well to me. We've passed some work back and forth, I'm super happy, I accidentally broke her heart the other day with one scene, you know. XD We live in really different time zones, which makes it hard sometimes, but it's all good.

Planning: Well, I'm going to finish my piece ASAP and shoot off the last bit to my artist, and then we'll see I guess.

What You Like About Your Work So Far: I'm actually really happy with how this is turning out, especially after how much trouble I had getting started. The collab part of this has totally exceeded my expectations, so, yeah.

What You Don’t Like About Your Work So Far: Hrm, mostly just that the writing has ended up a lot longer than I thought it would be, and I'd really like to be done. And, again, the time zone issue, but that's not a real complaint.

Anything Else: RL has been super duper extra out to get my these past few weeks. I don't think I've been this stressed out in my life, and between this project, my novel, NaNo approaching, school work, having a cold, family emergencies, camp.... Shit. I'm losing my mind. But I'm determined to see this through to the end, and I've really enjoyed working on it so far. I'm super sorry to have missed this check in, but as I said, it's been a nuts few weeks and I haven't been online very much.
